TRUE : Proof that Desmond will be back for S3?

"Few weeks ago, was talking to my drama teacher who said that she is friends with the wife of the actor who plays Desmond. She told my drama teacher that he had been asked to move to Hawaii. My teacher couldn't remember when she had this conversation with her, but I'm pretty sure this means that Desmond is gonna be in S3, cause even if it was a while ago they had the conversation, would he really have to move to Hawaii (from Scotland) just for 3/4 eps?"
