Anoynmous sources tell us that season 4's biggest return will see Micheal and Walt return with either Penny and her crew OR with the new group that Jack contacts at the end of season 4.

same, it'd be a big reversal to have penny be on "not penny's boat"
...we could definitely see michael in the premier, maybe even with the freighter crew.
I've been speculating that the s4 pre-opening credits sequence will be penny's day before getting charlie's call... kinda like s2 premier about desmond's day before meeting locke and s3's about juliet prior to the plane crash. just a thought
I don't see how Walt could return given how much he has grown. I think his participation in the show will be limited to flashforwards.
Remember that comment they said at Comic-Con, once? About assuming that 'time is moving at the same speed on the island as on the outside world.'
I reckon this is how they are going to explain Walt's age.
I have previously predicted that Michael may have found Penny upon his rescue. They could be working together to find the island. I can totally believe that premise.
But working together off-island and off-freighter, that is.
