I was in starbucks the otherday (where i work) and christopher eccleston came in (invisable guy in heroes and dr who star) i asked if he would make a return to heroes he said yes and a return to dr who and he will be a new character in lost last episode of season 4 as a rescuer he will have the last shot in the current season (and is craping it) this was last mont i didnt think anything of it until i read ur post on the spoilers page thanks for a great website have a good one james from manchester

Christopher Eccleston is one of my fav actors... I SO hope this is true... even more so the bit about Claude reeturning on heroes as than the lost bit.
This would be brilliant if it's true! And, since CE is British, could help suppport theories that any forthcoming 'rescue' is orchestrated by someone of the same nationality...
I just found out the other day that my sister knows Alan Dale's son through her boyf (he lives in the UK and is a DJ on Kiss FM) so I have asked her to extract any info he might know the next time she sees him.
This seems true enough, until the part about him saying he'd have the last shot in the season. Would an actor really reveal that to some random person he met? And actually, would he even know that for a fact? Hmm...
Fantastic news if this is true. He's currently filming a film called G.I. Joe which also stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje {Mr. Eko}.
Can't to see him return in Heroes. He has been one of my favourite characters in that show.
This would be awesome! I've been a fan since "Shallow Grave", loved him in "Cracker" (cried buckets when he died) and think he was brilliant as Dr. Who and love him in "Heroes". Having him on Penny's rescue team would be a real treat! Hope this rumour is true! :)

There's no chance in HELL he'd return to Doctor Who, so that kind of rings alarm bells for me.
well he could be returning to doctor who as it has been rumoured that the doctor atm is not gonna extend his contract. Could happen not certain tho.
It does seem a bit fake I must admit, but he could return to Doctor Who...parallel worlds an' all that.
Anyway i'll take this with a pinch of salt but I wouldn't be suprised it this was true.
I don't see a problem with him returning to Dr Who - many old Doctors have, through the years, teamed up with the then-current doctor to take on some big evil.
But the rest reeks of bullshit.

Actually, it is widely accepted that the BBC has Christopher Eccleston under a signed Gag Order for Doctor Who. He won't talk about his time on Doctor Who generally, and fans speculate that he can't legally because of the Gag Order.
And which Starbucks, by the way?
Does seem a lot of info to spill to a barista..I am a relatively new Who fan and love CE as Nine, whats the deal with the Gag order? did he quit or was he fired, was there bad blood? Or freakish BBC control? Anyway, David Tennant is rumored to be leaving at some point, and is so popular for his "alien slutboi tease" characterization I have thought it would be brilliant to bring back CE so that the next Doctor doesnt have to be compared directly to such a fan fave as DT. Also didnt the Lost and Heroes producers joke about how they might tie the two series storylines together?

The last description of the episode before the end credits is:

It's the Doctor! But not the Doctor... Adam and Samuel are delighted."
Last week, everyone was caught off guard with an unexpected appearance of Rose (The assistant of Christopher Ecclestone's Doctor), and that above description implies that a previous incarnation of the Doctor might show up unexpectedly.
If Ecclestone does show up, it makes the Starbuck guy's story more believable.
i just seen on a dr who website that CE is returning in a *time war* battle at the end of this season and he is returning to heroes its been said many times even at comic con the director said he will be bringing back some "ghosts" 2/3 allready i hope this is true if it is starbucks dude rocks sweeeeeet website thnks x x x
Um, I dunno- I mean, it's not IMPOSSIBLE for the 9th doctor to be in another episode with the 10th, but that might get messy, thinking of how he was very specific to Rose not to run into herself or hisother self the day of Jackie and Pete's wedding...
He is going to be Destro in the new GI Joe movie though...
This is a hoax. Christopher Eccleston made it VERY clear why he left Doctor Who in the first place, he didn't want to be typecast as the doctor for the rest of his life. He has since left for america (heroes, gi joe + other various projects) and it would seem like a daft career choice to go back to Dr Who. Plus, the next doctor is more than likely going to be a female (wink).
Well. It looks like the bloke in Starbucks might be right, as Tennent's Doctor has just been shot by a Dalek and he's regenerating BUT as they are in a Time Flux... maybe he regenerates BACK into Christopher Eccleston for one episode. That's what the kids think.
