Update: 25th June I've managed to confirm that this is a Hoax.
Thanks to a DarkUFO reader who sent this through. I'm still trying to find out how true this is.
I can tell you that British actress Alison Doody (of Indiana Jones fame) is currently in talks for a recurring role in Lost S. 5 and possibly S. 6. I don't know yet what role she will get, as she read for two important roles. In fact, nothing is signed as of yet, but I hear that the producers were the ones to ask for her and that they're doing everything they can to get her.

Annie perhaps?
Good guess christian. Anything other than that I wouldn't care for. The cast is bloated as it is and too many regular cast members get little or nothing to do due to the sheer number of characters. Of course, they can always kill off a few, which they do, but a lot of people are getting tired of that too.
OMG it's a female character therefore it MUST be Annie!!!
How about a still very much alive Karen DeGroot ??
Well it makes more sense that they hire a new actress for Annie rather than someone we have already seen.

It could be Annie because this actress does look a little like Juliet (remember Harpers comment, "you look just like her", maybe it was Annie)

Don't reckon this is true, doubt they'd have a casting call out so soon and I especially doubt they'd have an actress.
Harper's comment 'you look just like her' was with respect to Ben's mother. Ben has a mother hang-up. Juliet has blonde hair and blue eyes - Ben's mother had blonde hair and blue eyes. I have seen no evidence in any of the episodes pointing to Annie really being relevant to anything. if she is supposed to be, then something needs to happen fast and dramatically. Annie was in one episode in season three for about ten total seconds. big Deal.
I'm hoping this is true. I like her work & I met her a couple of times through our shared charity work. She seems like a really nice person.
Hopefully, elephant riding will be on the agenda. She's good at that.
Actually crikey, it was Kate Capshaw who rode the elephant in Temple of Doom. Alison Doody was the Austrian Nazi-spy from The Last Crusade. "This is how we say goodbye in Austria."

Not disappointed that this isn't true at all. Like I said above, my preference is that they wouldn't add new characters to such an already large cast, although I do expect some characters, referred to in previous seasons (but never actually seen), will be added as guest, recurring or regulars cast members.
