I've not been able to verify this yet so I'm placing in rumours.
Don't know if you already knew this but I just moved to LA and i was with an old friend who also happens to be a huge lost fan and he told me he had worked on a movie with the actress who played Emily Locke in Cabin Fever. He told me that she has been called back for a Lost episode this season and apparently Richard Alpert will be filming with her. Just thought that was cool and wanted to share.

She reminds me a lot of Claire.
I see it Ana!
And I can certainly handle more of her :)
Maybe we'll get more insight about how she went batshit insane. Yay !
If Locke had something going for him, and it ain't much, is that he had a REALLY cute teen mother. Pity she left him.
I looked her up on imdb a while back when she did that episode and she's not exactly well known. Would be nice to see her pop up elsewhere.
Didn't know Locke was British.
I'm thinking that Richard is Locke's biological papa.
i hope richard isnt lockes real father because wouldnt locke have to kill richard like he did anthony cooper. well like he was supposed to anyways.
That look Emily's mother gave Alpert at the hospital was a prelude to something like this happening. Richard as Locke's father would be a very hard sell though. They look nothing alike.
I think Richard will approach Emily as a representative of a foster care program, and that's how Baby Locke ends up in foster care... along with Ben, who was shown briefly as the younger boy in the scene where Richard tests Locke as a young boy. I also think the foster home was on the island.
p, where did you see ben as a "younger boy" in the scene where Richard tests Locke? He tested Locke in Locke's home and I don't recall any other kids around. Maybe there were some kids outside and you are just guessing that one was Ben???
Just after Locke's foster mom lets Richard in, she tells an older girl to take her brother into the kitchen and we can see a little boy very briefly. I have nothing else to go on; just wildly guessing because it'd be fun if it turns out to be Ben.
Let's not forget how much it would ruin Locke's WHOLE storyline if Richard was his father.
Come on, the whole Cooper thing, the 'my father stole my kidney and rendered me permanently (or so he thought) disabled' business...that was some of the most emotive, compelling storytelling ever. It completely loses its edge if Cooper wasn't actually Locke's dad, just Some Guy.
Besides, both Locke and Richard are awesome enough already.
Agreed, chester kilburn. We know Locke's father is Cooper. It would be nearly impossible to donate a kidney to someone who is no relation to you.
p, it's okay to engage in wild speculation... god knows, many people here do... but please label it as such... don't just say "Ben, who was shown briefly as the younger boy in the scene where Richard tests Locke as a young boy" as if it were a statement of fact, instead of wild guessing on your part. Things are complicated enough on Lost without making up wild rumors lol...
Hottie.

Not so. In fact, the vast majority of kidney donations come from unrelated donors. It's the tissue match that is important not whether two people are related or not. People who are related have a better chance of being tissue matches but matches can be found elsewhere too. I assume Cooper managed to do tissue typing on Locke before setting up the con.
I don't think Cooper sought out Locke because Locke was his son and therefore had a better chance of being a tissue match. I think his mains concerns were (1) time -it was going to take 3-5 years for Cooper to reach the top of the transplant list for a cadaver kidney and Cooper could con a kidney out of his needy son faster than he could a kidney out of a stranger (2) greater chance of success -living donor kidneys have less chance of rejection than cadaver kidneys.
The living donor's motives are scrutinized before donation. If you are donating to a total stranger, social workers want to know why and are going to be on the lookout for coercion. So it was safer and faster for Cooper to go after Locke, someone who could easily be conned and whose motives for donation were easily understood by others. Sadly Locke has mark written all over him.
